Hi - I really need some help making an interactive PDF in InDesign. I have created buttons etc, but i've replicated a part of this document to only show when a button is clicked.
I want to group all these items together and only show when this button is clicked. I have grouped them, but I can only make this a bookmark (which is not an option to use in the "actions" component of buttons).
The below image shows all items within the red box to be hidden until the button "add item" above is clicked. Please help!!
This is something you can't achieve with InDesign, and even in Acrobat it's not something you'd be able to do 'out-of-the-box'... But there is another PDF forms design tool that can do just that LiveCycle Designer. With that you can wrap form elements into sub-forms, which in turn can be enabled through actions assigned to certain settings, choices a user makes in a PDF form.
