Why does the Adobe standard profile render blue with such wild inaccuracy? (Nikon D5100)

So I went to the EMP Museum in Seattle today and took several RAW photos with my D5100 in the Indie Games exhibit. There was a lot of blue/purplish atmospheric lighting. Looking at my RAWs on camera, the images I shot looked like this:

      normal.jpg

Which is reasonably accurate, I think. However, using the Adobe Standard profile, which I tend to prefer, I get the following result from the same RAW file:

      blue error.jpg

Anyone at Adobe able to explain what's going on here? Using any of the camera profiles corrects the issue, I just don't get why the Adobe Standard profile goes crazy like this. Does Adobe Standard like to saturate blue much more than the other profiles?
