ID4. My system recently crashed (Windows 8.1). I had to do a complete system re-install. Subsequently I re-installed Creative Suite 4. When I tried to run ID4, I got the following message:"restart your computer . . .if problem continues call Adobe support and mention Error: 5".
I suspect this is some sort of licensing problem. How do I resolve?

You may have tried to restore from a backup. That won't work with CS products.
You'll first need to do a deep clean to remove everything you tried to install:
