You can may uninstall all those from 2008-2013.
Then, uninstall Lightroom 6.
All the Visual C++ libraries can be easily installed again from Microsoft's website.
You can refer this article : How to remove and reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Libraries | AutoCAD | Autodesk Knowledge Network
And if any of them are left, they can be reinstalled via Windows Updates.
Then, reinstall Lightroom 6 and the left C++ Libraries which are required by Lightroom will get automatically installed.
Let me know if you have any further queries.
I've uninstalled LR6, uninstalled Visual C++ libraries from 2008, reinstalled LR6, updated the display drivers (NVidia GeForce GT525M).
The 2 dll's are well in place (mscvr 80 and 100)
Restarted the computer each time.
On that same machine LR 5.7.1 x64 works perfectly well anytime. Such as all other apps
LR6 is a 6.0. Is there any newer version that could help? I can't understand another point than a problem in the LR6.0
What is your opinion?

Lightroom 6 licence perpétuelle erreur 0xc00007b - l'application n'a pas réussi à démarrer correctement
My problem is not solved. It brings back to a windows 7 problem (corrupted files?). May be I'll wait for Windows 10 to solve the issue. Issue which is surprising because my computer works perfectly well with all other programs including LR5.7.1
Nevertheless I want to congratule Chetna Srivastava for her involvment in searching for a solution. She has a real sens of the service to the user and I recommend Adobe to take care of her.
I'll keep the forum informed if I find a solution in the meantime
Thank you for your patience Jean.
Glad to hear that.
And thank you for sharing your book with me, its wonderful and great to know.
It's me again. Still in trouble with LR6.
I've installed the software on my second computer (dedicated to photo) and it works perfectly well. Initialy I installed it under Win 8.1 and I migrated to Win 10 with no problem. Knowing that I've migrated my laptop this afternoon but still the same problem: 0xc00007b - l'application n'a pas réussi à démarrer correctement
If ever you hear about a solution, could you please tell me. In the mean time I will stick with LR5 on that computer but it's a shame not having the same version software from one computer to another.
I would suggest you to try this once :
Download and choose the option to repair VSU_4\vcredist_x64.exe from this link :
At the end I've completely reinstalled Windows 10 and it works perfectly well. So it was a windows problem
Thanks for all
Thanks for updating us about the same.
Glad to know you finally got it sorted.
This solution worked for me. I could run PS and Acrobat, but no other CC apps. Now everything seems to work.
