    Using Grass Valley ADVC 110

The last time I did video capture was on a WinXP computer using Premiere 6 and a Pinnacle DV500 card (that computer was sold a long time ago)

While unpacking after our recent move my wife found a forgotten box of VHS tapes that she wants me to convert for both computer and DVD play, so I have ordered the Amazon.com: Grass Valley/Canopus 77010150100 ADVC110 Converter: Computers & Accessories

I use Premiere Pro CS6 so know I can capture with that... but I'm thinking a smaller program designed only for video capture might be easier and quicker to use

I will be capturing from a VCR through the ADVC 100 and into the Firewire port in my computer (Asus Sabertooth X79 MB)

Does anyone have an opinion on using either of these programs? http://windv.mourek.cz/ or http://www.exsate.com/products/dvcapture/
