You need to first read in the list. You can't read an Excel file directly. You will need to either copy and paste the list into the script (if it's a static list), or into an input window of some kind (dialog, form field, response dialog, etc.), or read in the input file itself after you save it as a plain-text file.
Then you can use the getPageNthWord method to read all the words in your file and search for the key-words from the list in a loop.
Hi I tried with the following
Set objApp = CreateObject("AcroExch.App")
Set objPDDoc = CreateObject("AcroExch.PDDoc")
'AD.1 open file, if =false file is damage
If objPDDoc.Open(strFileName) Then
Set objjso = objPDDoc.GetJSObject
For page = 0 To objPDDoc.GetNumPages - 1
wordsCount = objjso.GetPageNumWords(page)
For i = 0 To wordsCount
'AD.2 Set text to variable strData
strData = strData & " " & objjso.getPageNthWord(page, i)
but no progress... is there any other solution to activate the particular sheet for each word.
By activate, you just mean shiow the page? Just go to a page in the document.
Sorry for the late Reply, Ya just go to that page.
So, it is solved, yes?
Nope not yet , using the Menuitemexecute i am trying to find and locate the Keyword but its not happening .. Got stuck.
I don't see any use for MenuItemExecute. Your code is already getting a list of all of the words in the PDF, just use the list, then go to the page.
To jump to a specific page you just need to set the value of the pageNum property. For example:
this.pageNum = 0;
This command will jump to the first page of the file.
by default it will start from 0. based on the keyword only .its like you press cntrl+f then paste the data and hit enter it takes you a page . i need that how to do it
You have to change your program. It's quite an advanced program, how did you get this far then get so stuck? Or is it something you found, but don't understand?
You can't automate that process. You need to do it the way we described.
