I am trying to move my adobe software to a new computer. I have deactivated it on the old computer and logged in with my Adobe ID. It's prompting me for a serial number and I went to the non-profit that I get my license from and got the serial number. It fits but I keep getting an error that it's not valid for creative suite 6. Any suggestions other than to tell them they gave me the wrong number?
You can contact Adobe Support thru chat and see if they can determine if the number you were given is valid for the software you are trying to install. If this is involved with some kind of volume licensing then it is possible you need to get the installation files from somewhere else (Adobe Licensing Website | Serial numbers | Orders | Accounts)
