photos show on 1 monitor not other

    posmindset

I have 2 dell monitors that are a little more than 1 year old and when i open lightroom on the dell s2440L, the pictures won't show, if i slide LR over to mother screen, Dell S2340, they show just fine.

      what is the problem?

all drivers are up to date

graphics card is also only 1 year old, nvidia gtx760 so that isn't the problem

What version of LR and OS? If using LR 6 or CC2015 try unchecking 'Use Graphics Processor in LR Preferences as below.

Let's try this again: What version of LR and OS? Try shutting down your system and rebooting after unchecking the LR Preference 'Use Graphics Processor.'

Will also need more details concerning what you mean by "on the dell s2440L, the pictures won't show." Let us know if you are having the same issue with other applications or just with LR. What exactly doesn't show and what does show. A screenshot would be helpful:

rebooted system after unchecking "Use Graphics Processor"  the problem still exists

to describe better what is happening when i say, "on the dell s2440L, the pictures won't show." if i slide LR over to that dell s2440L monitor, the pictures disappear, leaving the boxes where the pictures once were along with the numbers of those pictures in the box.  (see the picture I'm attaching to clarify)  LR problem.png
