|var myDocument = app.activeDocument;|
inklist = myDocument.inks.everyItem().name;
for (i=0; i<inklist.length; i++)
i get the all the colour ink name using above code but i need to find fetch the indesign document used ink/color name only
see example, 100 pages in a document with Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black combination.
We need the script based on INK/COLOUR wherever used in InDesign document as below.
Cyan used in pages: 1, 20, 30, 50, 70, 90
Magenta used in pages: 2, 20, 25, 40, 60, 80
Yellow used in pages: 3, 20, 25, 35, 55, 75
Black used in all pages
You can't do it out of the box. However, there is a workaround i use:
Export each page as a PostScript file, then read each postscript file as text and look inside it for the two variables: %%DocumentProcessColors and /%%DocumentCustomColors
