Hi, adobe community!
I have created a form using adobe acrobat and its a invoice type of form!!
Now all is done but I'm not able to save the filled form as pdf so that I can email it to my customers.
(I might use adobe reader to fill forms and email it further, as my computer at work is very dumb).
I'm thinking to add a button to the form to flatten all the text fields so that I can save it on my computer as non-editable pdf.
but I'm very new to java script, not familiar with such difficult task.
can anyone here, pass me the code?
Thank you for your precious time adobe community. :')
Using Reader it's not possible to actually flatten the file (that's only possible in Acrobat).
What you can do, though, is either set all the fields as read-only or (better yet) digitally sign the file using a signature field set up to lock the fields when signed.
THE SECOND OPTION SEEMS TO BE GOOD!
im soory but i dont know how to set that? can you provide instruction?
Add a Digital Signature form to the file and under its Properties, in the Signed tab, set it to lock all the fields in the file when signed.
