ok, that seems more complicated than what I want.
When in Acrobat, I can do a search for any word and it will highlight it on the page it appears, or if there are many,
then it gives me a list.
That is all I want the user to be able to do if they get a PDF from me and don't have Acrobat.
If the user has Reader before XI, then the PDF needs special rights to be enabled.
If the user has a non-Adobe product you might not be able to do this at all.
There is far more to programing than sloping down a formula in Excel, And even that is only a front end input to a lot of actual code.
Users of Acrobat Reader can also search like in Adobe Acrobat.
