ftp and sync slow performance for 13 years

i've been dreamweaver user since mx. ftp and sync in dw was and still is painfully slow.

been using MacRabbit - Espresso and if you setup 'cloud attack' in the prefs, the ftp & sync is VERY fast.  a great app that does what it says for under $100 (no i don't work for macrabbit).

adobe has still not figured out how to implement a better ftp solution within dreamweaver.  wondering if there's still some legacy macromedia code floating around in dw cc.

      i don't get it.

dw ftp has been the same slow thing for 13 years (since mx in 2002).

      what is the deal.
