Sorry, I missed the announcement and did not expect that it was no longer supported.
So I did not search for this fact.
Now I have to learn how to make an installer so PSCC 2015 can find my extensions.

I think the annoucement became burried amongst other threads. But the change should not impact on your experience of creating add-ons for PS CC 2015? The submissions format will remain the same and the CC Desktop App has been installing extensions since CC and remains to be the official method for installing add-ons.
I have found part of my problem and I can now run extensions without making a ZXP file
