I've always believed that I need to have a baseline organizational scheme of having my images on my hard drive according to the date they were taken. That way, regardless of cataloging in software, I have a "catalog" or an organizational scheme that allows me to find images based on date if nothing else. But it doesn't appear that I can do this given the LR Mobile stores the images in another location?
Someone on another forum offered the following which was the help I was looking for (just in case it might help someone else):
just go to the iPhone drive in Folders panel and then activate the top of the Library grid is the Library Filter - the 4 column filter at the top of the grid. With it filtered by date, you can then select each day's iPhone photos easily, right click in your main date-based folder structure and choose create new folder. There's an option to include selected photos.
