premiere has been working with any modern nvidia and amd card with 1gb or more memory. that amd should work fine.
cuda is from nvidia, and requires nvidia cards. however amd and intel use opencl, which is an alternative to cuda and works in premiere.
So whats the verdict. Im having issues with a Mid 2012 Macbook with a Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB. Are PCs becoming the idea rig for using PPRO now? The new ones are running Intel Iris Graphics 6100 and the AMD Radeon R9 M370X with 2GB of GDDR5 .
i don't have a mac, but have seen a few posts lately about problems with the amd radeon mobile graphics on mac. there have been lots of problems with adobe software in general, but it seems a few more problems on mac only. so it does seem PC is slightly less troubled, and PC's with nvidia graphics and intel cpu's tend to have less problems as well. you might want to look thru/search the regular premiere forum for mac and/or radeon r9 m370x problems to get a better idea of the issues.
