If I understand you correctly, the date is correct but you are looking to use a 2-digit year instead of a 4-digit year?
Yes . Exactly what I would like to do using a preset as a batch process on all the files in a folder.
I found some photos in my folders from five years ago that are incorrectly named and wanted to correct the naming using a preset.
Does any one have such a preset ?
If you are open to a little experimenting, I bet your current preset can be modified to do the 2-digit years.
Find the preset file on your hard drive.
Open it in your favorite text editor (not a word processor).
In the file you should find a "yyyymmdd" string in the file name formatting. Maybe "%yyyy%mm%dd" or "$yyyy$mm$dd" or the like, but you get the idea.
Change the "yyyy" to "yy".
Save it; test it on one file.
This was a one time occurrence from a few years ago which perhaps I caused while messing around creating presets. No presets in my Filename Template Editor are set to create YYYYMMDD.
Where does one find file naming presets on the hard drive so I can take a look ?
On Windows: C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Filename Templates
Not sure where that maps to on a Mac.
