Which versions of the Adobe products?
In place upgrades are nothing short of a crapshoot and if the versions are earlier than CS6 they are unsupported under Yosemite.
Well, essentially, you’re on your own, but was this an in place upgrade?
If so, two things to try.
1. Uninstall all of the apps, run the CC Cleaner tool and then reinstall from the original media.
2. If that doesn’t help, either roll back the operating system or do a clean install of it.
If none of that helps, you’ll have to upgrade.
Bad choice to update the OS. CS5.5 is not supported under Yosemite. Did you use the uninstall, update the OS, run the cleaner tool (Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems) and reinstall? If you used migration to do the system update, then do the above.
