    Can't install Creative Cloud... Stuck

      Hi all,

       

      I am stuck right now. My Creative Cloud went blank when the CC 2015 apps were posted. I have the following host apps:

      Photoshop: CS5 - CC 2014

      Illustrator: CS5 - CC 2014

      InDesign: CS5 - CC 2014

      InCopy: CS5 - CC 2014

       

      So, I uninstalled Creative Cloud, hoping to reinstall it. However, when I attempt to reinstall -- it crashes silently at this screen: Screen Shot 2015-07-16 at 5.08.49 PM.png

       

      So, I Googled around and found these steps (they seem to be pretty common and describe a similar situation to what I was seeing). I've tried to follow the steps, and here are my results:

       

      Solution 1: Upgrade the current version of the CC Desktop app.

      Can't do it (see above).


      Solution 2: Uninstall any CS5 and Elements 11 applications

      Also cannot do, when I try to uninstall CS5, I get the following error message: Screen Shot 2015-07-16 at 5.25.08 PM.png

      And, when I try to download the linked instructions, I get this error: Screen Shot 2015-07-16 at 5.25.18 PM.png

       

      Solution 3: Restart your computer and relaunch the CC Desktop app.

      Doesn't help.

       

      Solution 4: Remove the opm.db file, restart your computer, and relaunch the CC Desktop app.

      Doesn't help.

       

      Solution 5: Delete the contents of the OOBE folder and relaunch the CC Desktop app.

      Doesn't help.

       

      Can anyone help?
