I am getting a unable to allocate sound memory error on any comp 1 hour long or more with After Effects cc2015. I have a file that has 16bit 48k stereo audio that is 1 hour 13 minutes long. I drag the file to create a new comp and when i try to do a ram preview i get the Unable to allocate sound memory error. If I change the comp to any length under 1 hour it works perfectly. This same file works perfectly in cc2014. Is there some setting on the new version that i am missing?
That's simply another bug with the new previews stuff.
There's a bug fix update that Adobe says is targeted for the end of this month. If the update doesn't fix your issue, file a bug report. Actually, it wouldn't hurt to file one now, while you're thinking of it.
In the meantime, you can work in both CC 2014 and CC 2015 on the same project. So, if you have something you prefer to do in CC 2015, use it and then open that project file in CC 2014 for rendering.
