When I look at my image in LOUPE view, there is banding in the image - when I look in Develop view, there is NO banding in the image.
When I export to JPG with no compression, the banding is there as per the Loupe View.
If I EDIT IN PHOTOSHOP WITH LIGHTROOM ALTERATIONS, the banding is NOT there.
I have tried to rebuild and discard all types of previews and it has not helped.
Here are the screen shots of LOUPE view and DEVELOP view - same image, no changes in settings, just switching view.
If you’re talking about the desaturated area across the middle of the sky, I think this is jpg compression artifacts because previews in LR are JPGs. The lack of this desaturation in Develop is because Develop views are computed into memory and not stored and retrieved.
