I recently added my Aperture photo collection to Lightroom 6 on my mac. I used Aperture Exporter to export 6600+ images to my file system. Then I "Add"ed them to Lightroom 6 desktop. While looking at all my photos in grid view, I'm finding many of them are upside down and sideways. I don't remember having to flip them in Aperture. I took the pictures with a Canon Rebel SLR. I'm sure i didn't hold the camera upside down. I can understand if they were taken with an iPhone, but these were taken with my good camera. Any ideas?
You need to set Auto Rotate to On in your camera.
Isn't that setting used to show portrait images correctly in the back of the camera after taking a picture? What I don't understand are the upside down pics. I never turn my camera upside down to take a picture.
