As a company, we need a desktop computer to work with after effects for motion graphics and editing. (we don't work with 3d stuff)
Is this computer enough for our purposes? Or do we need a better system ? Is gtx 760 enough for us? What about rendering times for motion graphics?
Do you have any suggestions?
AE does not use the GPU for rendering, so it's a moot point. You could slap in a 10 year old card (if you realyl don't use any 3D stuff) and it would make no difference.
Thank you Mylenium for your answer.
What is your suggestions for CPU and RAM? Is 8 gb enough ?
8GB of RAM is enough technically, but it is the minimum and I wouldn't recommend it. A good rule of thumb is to have 4 GB of RAM for every core in your processor.
Get the fastest CPU you can afford.
Get an SSD for your OS and AE's cache and a big regular hard drive for working - it'd hold your footage, assets, renders, project files, etc.
If you plan to use AE's ray-traced renderer (an obsolete feature, but some people still use it), the GPU does matter and you'll want to get one on AE's approved list.
