What version of Premiere Elements and on what computer operating system?
What you are encountering may not be you want, but it is "normal" behavior for Premiere Elements. Please read the full description in the following
The bottom line is
content is required on either a video track, an audio track, or the Soundtrack to avoid the"Narration Recording Stops After 30 Seconds" situation
Any questions or need clarification on this, please do not hesitate to ask.
Well, that's a relief. I wondered if that were the case. A friend of mine just turned me on to Audacity, and my husband and I finished all the voiceovers just now. I haven't figured out how to export the narrative as an mp3 from a WAV file either, but I've been told by the friend that he can use Audacity for that in the meantime. In fact he's doing it now. Thank God for friends. And thank you so much for your quick response. I'd rather have a quick no than a dragged out maybe.
Thanks for the follow up. It appears that you have all under control.
If you need any assistance with the Audacity export and Premiere Elements import of the WAV or mp3 version from Audacity, please let me know. Consider the wav version.
Just in case...
Audacity and mp3
Audacity and wav
should come as shipped no need for encoder as for mp3
Thank you. Usually I make videos, and the issue won't arise, but this gives me all kinds of freedom. Thanks for the quick response.
