Simulation as a quiz?

I am wondering if I can set up a simulation driven by the user as a quiz? For example, may the user be asked to preform a particular task in a software simulation and have their actions be scored by whether or not the do it correctly and whether or not they use key commands vs. mouse clicks?

?? Isn't that what the Assessment mode of Software simulation is doing?

However if you need to use two types of correct work flows, you'll have to add that after the simulation. Not everything will be possible, for some actions you can use a shortcut key as alternative. Bit of creativity helps.

I don't know I have never done software simulation. It is new to me.

Maybe you'd watch some tutorials? I am happy to help with possible problems, but this is not a training site. Here users try to help other users solving problems.

If you use the welcome screen, you'll see Software simulation for new projects. If you are already in Captivate, choose File, Record Software Simulation.
