Hi, I'm running After Effects CC 2015.0 Version 126.96.36.1997 on a mid-2011 27" iMac that is running OS X 10.10.4 with 32 gigs of RAM and 3.4GHz core i7 processor.
And I'm having an audio preview issue that I'm trying to figure out.
When I just want to preview the audio, mainly to find out exactly where a word begins I use the . key on the keypad.
In previous versions, when I used this shortcut, the audio would play from where the cursor was and when I pressed the . key a second time, the audio would stop and the playhead would return to where it was when I first pressed the . key.
In the current version, I press the . key and the audio starts (and not exactly, e.g. the audio should say, "Over 20 million years,..." what it does play is, " r 20 million years,..." cutting off the first couple frames.). When I press the . key the second time, the playhead stops where it is and doesn't jump back to the previous point.
Is there a way to bring back the old workflow?
Check the below link for After Effects CC 2015.
Thanks...I'm glad to see that functionality will be brought back.
In the meantime, I'll have to get used to using the 2 keys.
