uninstalled flash player by mistake when trying to reinstall it its saying its already embeaded in windows 8 and I cant reinstall it

Hi maryw1965,

Since Microsoft embeds Flash Player in Windows 8.x they consider the Flash Player files to be protected system files, by locking the file permissions to prevent users from easily deleting them.  This is also why the Flash Player installer does not remove the embedded Flash Player version in Windows 8.x.  Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with an easy solution to re-install Flash Player short of re-installing the OS (this comes from other users who have also deleted the embedded Flash

I recommend going to the Microsoft forums and seeking help there, since Microsoft is the one that embeds Flash Player (and locks the files) in Windows 8.x.
