Hi, I'm using a MAC OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.4 and Lightroom 6. I'm a relative new user to Lightroom, and have been very impressed so far, having made the switch from Aperture. For the first time I've inserted the memory card from my Camera (Nikon D7200) ready to copy my files into Lightroom. Lightroom find's the files (I can see the images - select my destination folder, and then I receive the following message " Some import operations were not performed" "The following files were not imported because they could not be read. (159) Items 1 - 100 Items 101 -159" - I've had a look and checked the user rights for the destination folder which seem OK. Any ideas??? Many thanks.
If you have checked the permissions as you said, then please show us screen captures of the Destination section of the Import dialog box, and also the permissions on the folder indicated in the Destination section of the Import dialog box.
Hi DJ, Thanks for the reply. Actually I figured it out, as it was a fresh install of LR, I had to help the programme to locate the destination file to copy to. So on the right hand side of the screen, To Macintosh HD, I then specified the directory...... /Pictures/LightroomMasters..........then it worked! Thanks very much for replying to my request for help. Really appreciated. Kind regards.
