I have a streetscape scene. The centre building in this scape becomes increasingly derelict. For each stage, I want a camera motion blur to indicate progression in time, where the camera 'wooshes' away from the building object to land back at it in a degraded state.
Is it possible to achieve this *without* replicating the set into very large landscape that the camera 'wooshes' through?
If you want camera motion, you need a landscape to more over. But if you do it very fast, you will get so much motion blur that this landscape doesn not need to be very detailed. Maybe you can just place the clips for building stage 1 and building stage 2 side by side and pan very quickly from the first to the second. Then motion blur may hide that the two shots don't fit seamlessly.
