Can we see a screenshot?
A question about a proxy-server would likely come from something on your computer or the network your computer is connected to and not Adobe. Are you on a corporate network or otherwise using a network that has tight security? Or are you just at home using your PC or Mac like you always do and can access any website and download any software?
If instead of a proxy server it is asking for an AdobeID and Password, then this would be normal, so Adobe can verify who purchased this particular software, and associate the serial number you’re about ready to enter.
Thank you for the quick response. I found a post on an Adobe forum that
listed proxies to list in network settings. It resolved my issue to list *.
adobe.com, *.adobelogin.com, *.adobeoobe.com in the window for bypass proxy
settings on my Mac.
Again, thank you.
