InDesign changes its mind about what fonts I can use?

      Hi there,

I've been working on a project for many months now, and here's something I just do not understand.

Fonts that I select from the font list within InDesign that seem to work just fine, that is, for months I get no Error messages, will suddenly (as happened today) be flagged as not useable.  I then have to change anything that I've used this font for.

Now my project does involved the use a a few words of Korean, and Chinese (Mandarin I imagine) and Thai as well, so it's not like Geneva or Helvetica suddenly gets rejected.  But why, if I'm using a font that I shouldn't, does InDesign accept it for months at a time, and then suddenly protest?

      Regards,

      Malcolm
