that will automatically open just 1 of multiple drop-down hotspots
on a different target page. Very cool trick, thanks for sharing
that!
What's the correct method to click a link on a page, and then
have that automatically open just 1 of multiple drop-down hotspots

same page?
It would require someone to write a completely new
javascript.
I am assuming you want the link to be somewhere else in the
topic and jump to the hotspot and expand it. However, having jumped
the user to the dropdown, isn't it reasonably obvious what they do
next?
