Does installing the 11.0.1 update help? Do you use a third-party font manager?
I uninstalled my In Design and Re installed it. I had a friend try to open the file and it was damaged. The program crashed while it was saving my file. Luckily I can open other files. I do still have the issue where I cannot export over existing PDF names. I need to check my font manager. I'm not sure. I don't think so. If you think of anything else please let me know.
Also, My DC reader constantly crashes. Here is the message.

By the way ashleycowboy and david smith are one in the same.
One thing you can try for the damaged file is the blind export script at Adobe Community: InDesign 6 is crashing when attempting to open a particular document. All others are opening OK.
You can also try the free tool at INDDRecovery — a program for restoring corrupted InDesign documents
