Hi, can someone help me? I'm compositing a 3d model on background (.EXR) Footage. I can interpret that footage to linear and SRGB color space., but when i try to do the same, after i right click interpret footage from the project panel the solid with the element 3d layer that i'm using to composite the 3d model, the box to uncheck preserve RGB is greyed out. I do not want to preserve RGB. i will be exporting the end composition as linear SRGB. Since i can't uncheck the box. i can't change the layer to linear SRGB.
c'mon guys don't be shy any ideas?
To color manage you have to have a format that supports it. Solids take on the color management of the Project settings. This is normal and expected behavior.
Thank you Rick ..even though it said preserve RGB on the solid, I changed the project settings to color mamagement and it worked on the solid. So basically what you're saying is the project settings overide the solid settings?
