Just purchased a new iMac with the following specs:
Currently using the latest version of After Effects CC 2015
Now I noticed this in my settings (GPU not available - incompatible device or CUDA driver): wanted to check if this specific graphics card is supported in CC. If not how can we get this supported
You can't. GPU support for Raytrace 3D requires an nVidia GPU. that aside, it's a deprecated feature and won't be developed further, so better look for alternatives like learning to use Cineware or getting plug-ins like Element 3D.
To expand on what Mylenium said, AE uses the GPU for very little. The ray-traced renderer used it, but that's an obsolete feature that is going away. Here's more info: http://blogs.adobe.com/aftereffects/2012/05/gpu-cuda-opengl-features-in-after-effects-cs6. html
So, I wouldn't worry about GPU support. As Mylenium said, you have access to a real 3d program for free with AE now, thus the obsolescence of the ray-traced renderer: details of CINEMA 4D integration with After Effects CC .
Cool! Thanks guys
