I have used some in-camera-filters on my Lumix LX100 but when they are imported into library they change to "zeroed" and all added filters are gone.
I've tried to import them as both DNG and as original raw file, RW2.
The thing is that in the import window, I see them with filters, but as mentioned they do not stay that way. I have also tried the Adobe DNG-converter,
but they get "zeroed" there as well.
I run Lightroom through Creative Cloud 126.96.36.199, and no updates are available.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Lightroom can’t read camera picture styles or filters. You need to use the camera manufactures software if those are important or shoot raw + jpeg.
Raw files have an embedded jpeg which is what is displayed on the back of the camera. That is what you see initially when importing to LR until LR builds its own previews.
You could create your own import preset to apply to all images after you create a “look” that you like. You apply the present in the import dialog instead of the default or zeroed settings.
Thank you for this information. I will dig into it.
