Creative Cloud desktop ap won't launch after last update. Ps, Lr & Pr launch and seem to work ok, will I mess them up by reinstalling ap?

Step 1 worked ok, was reluctant to try it without some encouragement,

all SEEMS ok.

Step 2 would NOT have happened. Not about to remove CS5 to maybe

install something that might work.
