I have a weird problem. I currently have a layout that has a stroke line that goes into the bleed area. When I print the file onto my Xerox the stroke appears fine. When I print the file as a PS file and run it through my Distiller the stroke no long goes into the bleed area and ends at the trim lines. Does anyone have a solution or understand what the issue is?
Is the stroke in question the only thing that extends into the bleed?
If not, is it the only thing that gets chopped at the trim mark?
Have you tried exporting to PDF rather than the Print > PS > Distiller route?
Thanks for your response. No I have images that extend into the bleeds that are fine just the one stroke line that goes into the bleeds seems to end at the trim. Hence the great confusion. Yes I have used the export feature in InDesign as well and that has the same result.
