    Could not Render ERROR ?

    Level 7
I have been switching fonts in a graphic. I checked the fonts and they pass
Font Doctor on the Mac. When selecting certain fonts, I get the error
      Could not Render, Internal error
And in order to regain control of the image, I have to close it and reopen
it. The fonts seem to be True Type and some are design or display fonts. Not
sure if that is the problem.

But I have noticed before sometimes that Fireworks starts failing to save
documents with the same error: internal error.
I just ran a system check, and all appears to be okay.

      Any help appreciated.

      Jeff

That usually is an indication that you are low on, or have run out of RAM.

            Hi Linda,
I've got 3.5 gigs of Ram and maybe DW running at the same time. I wonder if
FW has a leak on a Mac?

I use Fireworks almost every day with large files. In my experience Fireworks constantly gorges on memory until it eventually becomes slow to an unusable point and starts throwing up errors. It is a good idea to save often and restart the application at the first sign of trouble.

I've also found that usually when the error messages come up while you are trying to save, the save is actually successful and the error message is actually regarding rendering or some other operation.
