I created an InDesign document and had about 40-50 hyperlinks in it. When I opened the file on a new computer, all of the hyperlinks were missing. After creating the interactive PDF, most of the links still worked, but some were broken. This has happened multiple times now from Computer A to Computer B and vice versa. Both computers are using InDesign CS6 and the file is stored on a shared server. Does anyone know why this is happening? Are there any precautions to take or any workarounds for this?
do both computer have the very same access to the server?
How do you write the path? With drive nmae like E:// or server name?
Thanks for responding!
Both do have the same access. Both are also the exact same Apple computer and are connected to the server through an afp connection and the server number (ex. afp://00.00.0.00).
Thanks again and I hope that answers your question!
