I have the same problem with some tables and footnotes. Only happens in a handful of places in the document. When an edit is made to text before or in the table the following text jumps onto the next page and the footnotes jump to the top of the current page. Moving or resizing the frame brings everything back as it should be.
The only thing I've isolated is that if I remove the footnote in the text following the table everything is ok. I've tried change the text in the footnote to no avail.
I'm using InDesign CC 2015 on a PC running Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit with 6 GB ram.
I can share a single page from the document that demonstrates the problem.
This occurs when a story contains footnotes above and below a table on the same page. Problem started in version CC 2014. I've reported bug to Adobe - please do the same!
Thanks for that. I hadn't realized that it happens when there are footnotes above and below the table. That info makes it fairly easy to replicate.
I've submitted a bug report to Adobe also.
