There have been two InDesign updates since Windows 10 downloaded. I just started a new document yesterday and noticed that the text wrap feature doesn't work. I placed a photo, sized it, clicked on text wrap surround, and got a red box displayed around the actual size of the photo. I clicked outside the object to turn the red box off, then clicked just inside the graphic and moved it over the text. The text was hidden. I noticed that the size of the up/down distance around the object was listed as 0. I changed that to a number, but it only created a clear halo around my photo that the text showed through. The text didn't move away from the photo as it should have. Is there something I can do inside document settings or do I have to wait for the next update and hope something is fixed?
There are two places that could affect text not wrapping. The first is the preferences being set to Text Wrap Only Affects Text Below, and the second is in the text frame options for any text frame, where the ignore text wrap box might be checked.
