I recently installed Adobe Premiere Elements 13 to my new laptop (HP 15 TouchSmart). I want to save a project in my video library. However, when it is finished saving the project, I can only hear the audio. There is no video and it plays like an mp3. It reads as a movie clip instead of an mp4 in my library. How can I make sure that it plays an mp4? I am not sure where the problems. There is a matter involving the time lapse of rendering the file. The time jumps from an hour to 15 minutes in a matter of seconds. Any help you be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
First, make sure you're playing the finished video with a good, all-around video player, like Quicktime or, even better, the invaluable free VLC Media Player. Windows Media Player may not have the proper codec.
So, before we start troubleshooting, can you confirm that your output video won't play on VLC Media Player?
