Are you saving to a network drive? Does this happen when you try to save to your local hard drive? Do you have enough free disk space on the drive you try to save to?
TNX for responding.
Local hard drive. A hardware raid. I have about 400GB to spare.
All other apps save fine to the same directory. Acrobat saves fine to the same directory, if I use >save as< . When I re-open the same file I just saved, it can not be saved again... Therefore the problem is strictly with the way that Acrobat opens the file.
Also, being sufficiently desperate, I added each of my drives, and the specific path to the list of trusted paths. No go.
Additional info: this install is about 1 week old (I had to generate a fresh, new, from scratch OS, on a brand new SS drive.), and the problem existed from day 1.
Are you able to save your files without error if you disable Preview in Windows Explorer?
TNX for the response Sara
No difference. Tried that too after some thread I read here.
In any case, why would Explorer be different for Acrobat than from any other program like Word, etc.?
Saltaman, I'm having the same issue with no explanation. It happens randomly. You fix it?
