saving a file from InDesign as an interactive PDF and it works on Desktop, but looses all functionality on iPad and phone...
I've seen some people have work-arounds for buttons, but the output is inconsistent at best, and maybe a step is missing or not enough info provided because sometimes the buttons work and sometimes they don't. I can't figure out why. Also, the same PDF needs to work both on desktop and mobile. I'm mostly interested in making "go to website" links work from the live text or social media icons. Any help is appreciated. If someone has a step-by-step tutorial, let me know.
Also, I am in CS6 on an Apple machine running Yosemite.
This was supposed to be a bug of iOS 8, but was resolved with the iOS 8.3 update. Please refer to this link for help IOS 8, Safari and pdf hyperlinks | Apple Support Communities.

Has the problem been resolved already? If not, we (Adobe) can take a look at your PDF document to properly diagnose the cause of the problem. I've sent you a separate email containing the instructions on how to share your PDF document with us.
Thank you for your help.
