    Shady timing Adobe

    Digiplay

Premiere elements on sale until August 24.

Typical release is late September -specifically the 24 last year, 23 previously and there about the few years before that.

people buying are going to be a day to a couple of weeks past the 30 day comp upgrade and have an instantly old version.

TIming things like this to screw people into paying twice is absolutely the wrong way to treat customers. Shame on you.

This is not Adobe. Rather user to user. The frequency of the Adobe presence in this forum is not defined.

Please contact Adobe Sales/Marketing to give your input on its purchase opportunities and policies. Best way to affect change or modification is to go direct to Adobe.

Another possibility is that the buyer will get a good deal on some great software.  He/she won't need or be interested in the incremental improvements of a new version.  With 13, they will live happily for ever after.  Besides, ATR will be here to answer all their questions, regardless of version.
