Don't have CC or CS, but two other Mac drawing programs (iDraw and Inkspot) that handle AI files I've created at work on Illustrator CS2. Just bought a stock vector image that won't open at all in one, opens to a blank page in the other.
Refund time? Or better question, are all vector stock clipart's ONLY openable/editable in Adobe products?
Well...disappointingly it opens fine in Illustrator, but not other programs. Odd. Guess there should be a warning about program compatibility, although I suspect a majority of Adobe Stock users are Adobe program users, so may be a minor issue. Still, pretty annoying!
Illustrator CS2 is nine versions behind, making it alost 15 years old. Lots has changed in image capabilities since then. You may need to contact iDraw support and see why it can't open newer .ia files.
