I am using InDesign CC (2015) on a Mac Mini (OS X Yosemite) to create digital title slides for my video presentations. The documents are set up for "Digital Publishing" and are either 1920x1080 or 1280x720 pixels. I create the title pages and when I export to either .png (my preference) or .jpg (as an experiment), the files created have dimensions that are 4.1666x the original values. The 1920x19080 are exported as 8000x4500 and the 1280x720 are exported as 5333x3000.
Why is this happening? Is there a setting I missed somewhere? How can I get my intended output size?
Wiith PNG and JPEG exports, you have to export at 72ppi if you want to match the page's pixel dimensions. InDesign measures a pixel as 1/72"
Thank-you -- that was what I needed. I appreciate the assistance.
