I'm trying to render out some audio only WAV file. I see that there was a bug introduced with the the new update CC 13.5.1. The workaround suggests using media encoder. Unfortunately, I don't have the latest media encoder installed because I am on an IT controlled work computer and they didn't install the latest media encoder. Any way I can get a WAV file out? AVI won't render the audio either. I'm on a PC.
What version of the Adobe Media Encoder do you have? CC 2014 might work with CC 2015 files since AE CC 2014 works with AE CC 2015 files. Do you still have AE CC 2014 on your system? Alternatively, try rendering to an MOV - it should have audio.
Thanks, we are running original Media Encoder CC and since our helpdesk takes months to even do an update on our enterprise version of Creative Cloud I doubt I'll be updating soon. Fortunately I did find that workaround you mentioned exporting a MOV with audio only and converting from there back to a WAV file. Hopefully, by the time my IT department updates the software we'll have this bug fixed!
