What edition of Windows are you using?
What are you importing into this Elements Organizer slideshow....photos 1920 x 1080, how many?
In Premier Elements 10 is there any way to insert media in the timeline in random order?
Generally speaking without Elements Organizer involved....
1. Open Premiere Elements 10, set project preset, import your source media into the project media (list view). Do not drag them to the Timeline.
2. In project media, create a folder. Then in a random selection process, click and drag each file into the folder.
3. Drag the folder into the Timeline Video Track 1/Audio Track 1, and the photos should open on the Timeline in a random order.
4. Did they?
I wish to create a slideshow but want more flexibility and a higher resolution output than the built-in Slideshow option.
What exactly did you have in mind - DVD-VIDEO standard or widescreen on DVD disc, AVCHD on DVD disc? Please define flexibility that you seek.
Why are you not using the Premiere Elements 10 Editor for the whole project...building the slideshow and burning it to DVD-VIDEO standard or widescreen on DVD disc or AVCHD on DVD disc or Blu-ray disc format on Blu-ray disc? The last two will not play back on a regular DVD player.
Please supply more details.
