    REPOST importing table data

    deannab
      hi again

i'm trying again to get an answer to my question because this is a really important part of the web site i need to make. when i import a .csv file into a table, it keeps putting everything all into one cell. i'm new to dreamweaver and it seems i'm following the directions correctly, but must be doing something wrong. can someone please give me a hand?

      thanks

Sure. If it's really a csv file, then each comma-separated value would be
loaded into a separate table cell. Can you upload this file somewhere and
          post a link to it?

            hi murray!

yep, you're right...somehow there was a regular text version in addition to the .csv file (must've been an inadvertent save) and i was importing the wrong one.

i see it doesn't import the links though...

            thanks!
